Local Explorers, a company specializing in mobile loyalty apps for the hospitality and tourism sector, has partnered with Ohio Wines to develop a mobile passport app for their popular Ohio Wines Visitor Incentive Program (VIP). This new app will modernize the program by replacing physical tickets with digital check-ins at Ohio’s wineries, allowing wine enthusiasts to easily collect points, earn rewards, and discover new destinations. This initiative aims to attract a younger demographic, making it simpler for users to manage and track their experiences directly from their phones.

The app introduces multiple features to enhance the Ohio Wines VIP experience, such as real-time point tracking, the ability to earn badges, follow winery trails, and learn about special events. Additionally, users can preview participating wineries and order exclusive rewards directly through the app. As the program scales, the digital platform will streamline operations for Ohio Wines, making it more efficient to manage and sustain the growth of the initiative.
